Dr. Michael Time
Keynote Speaker on Pain, Performance, and Human Potential
TIME TALKS
Dr. Michael Time is a Doctor of Medicine, Brown University alumnus, philanthropist, and CEO of TIME TALKS. His work spans Fortune 500 and enterprise audiences, private equity firms and financial institutions, associations and nonprofits, and the public sector. He has been featured in NBC and CBS television news stories. Pain Is Energy™ is the central message of his work.
Using a principle from thermodynamics as a metaphor, Dr. Time™ invites audiences to examine pain through a different lens: energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. Dr. Time uses pain to describe the fear, worry, self-doubt, insecurity, regret, shame, loss, and uncertainty people experience at work and in life. Rather than treating pain as something to escape or overcome, he invites audiences to consider how that energy can be given direction.
His education in medicine and work in philanthropy have grounded his perspective in a wide range of human experience, from underserved communities to people across organizations navigating sustained pressure.
Beyond keynotes, Dr. Time works directly with organizations through interactive workshops and leadership sessions, bringing the Pain Is Energy perspective to employee engagement, workplace culture, professional development, leadership under pressure, and organizational change.
His keynotes draw on history, philosophy, science, and the natural world, using story and metaphor to offer inspiration and hope. He is a PCMA Visionary Award Finalist.
What hurt you is now what fuels you.
