Tammy D. Allen, Ph.D., is Distinguished University Professor at the University of South Florida, where she also serves as Director of the Occupational Health Psychology training concentration. Her work focuses on topics related to work and family, employee health, career development across the lifespan, and organizational practices such as remote work. Tammy served as President of the
Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) (2013-2014) and as President of the
Society for Occupational Health Psychology (2018-2019). She is a Fellow of
SIOP, the
American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the
American Psychological Association, among others. Her awards include the 2025
SIOP Distinguished Scientific Contributions Award for lifetime scholarship contributions to the field and a 2026-2027
Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award. She is the current Editor-in-Chief of
Personnel Psychology.
