Mindy Shoss, PhD, is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Central Florida, specializing in industrial and organizational psychology and the future of work. Her research covers job insecurity, precarious work, AI and robotics integration into the workplace, worker well-being, and adaptation to change. Recognized as a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Dr. Shoss has published over 100 research articles and book chapters, and co-edited The Cambridge Handbook of the Changing Nature of Work. Her research has been featured in Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, and Washington Post. Dr. Shoss serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Psychology and advises various organizations on the future of work and worker well-being.
